Saavanadurga Temple and Hill

Sawana durga is 30 km from ramanagara, sawana durga being one of the the nine such forts around Bangalore, is situated at a distance 50 km west of Bangalore near magadi. This is also the biggest monolith in asia. The rising the height is more then 1226 mrt of height,  At the the foot hill there is a village by the same name and is protected garden of the herbs of medicinal. This garden attract  more number of  tourists, good road and basic facilities are available.
