The Deputy Commissioner being the Head of the District Administration is perhaps the only officer who exercises powers under the largest number of laws both State and Central. It is a unit of Administration not only for Revenue Department but also for almost all the Departments of Government. Most departments of the State Government out-side the Secretariat, have external services which are located in the District.

Location of Deputy Commissioner Office

The office of Deputy Commissioner is located in the Highway of Bangalore-Mysore Road.

The office is just a 1 K.M. distance away from the Railway Station, and 2 K.M. from Bus stand.

The office is a Three storey building with various offices located inside the building.

At the first floor the DC Office is located.
